March 21, 2023
Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Beth Archer, President
56 present including 5 new members and 2 guests
Beth Konz/Kim VanBuskirk: Block of the Month
*Show and Tell of finished blocks
*Awarded prizes for finished blocks
*If patterns are not printing well, please call Kim.
*Please sign up for May’s applique patterns. They will be distributed at the April meeting.
Jenna Chamberlain/Amy Gilmore: Auction

Linda Auberry/Tammie Earnest: Challenge
*Show & Tell for Oldest UFO – 13 participants
*Door prize awarded
*Encourage members to prepare UFO for April – UFO that someone else gave you

Susan Eaton: Quilts of Valor
*We will be working on split rail blocks for the next four months. Patterns and kits are available.
*Volunteers are needed to bind finished quilts.
Heather Kopeschka: Fundraising
*The raffle quilt is finished. It was designed by Michael of Not Your Average Quilter quilt store and
made from Laundry Basket Quilt fabrics.
*We will have a booth at Not Your Average Quilter’s shop during the shop hop.
*Pick up your raffle tickets from Heather.
*A Committee is needed for the 2024 Raffle Quilt.
*Thank you to all those who volunteered at the Bloomington Quilt Show.
*It has been suggested that the Guild present Michael with a gift.
Bobbie Brinson/Mary DeRemer: Retreat
*Retreat scheduled for September 15-17, 2023 at McCormick’s Creek State Park
*13 rooms available for $400 double occupancy
*Meals are not provided
*To reserve a spot, fill out sign up form and deposit $50. Balance due August 1, 2023.

*Volunteers needed to handquilt at Pioneer Village
*Also collecting 2 ½ fabric square bundles, 1500 needed
