Scrap Basket Quilt Guild

Dana Sederoff called the meeting to order at 7:04 pm with forty-one members present.

 For the upcoming Christmas party, those with last names beginning with A

through L should bring a side dish or salad. Those with last names beginning

with M through Z should bring a dessert.

 Start time for the party is 6:00.

 Everyone should bring their own beverage.

 There will be special entertainment.

 Members were reminded to pick up their unsold items from the craft show. Any

items left may be donated.

Sandy Beard, Vice President

 Volunteers are needed for 2026 officers and committees. Vice president, secretary,

and someone to oversee raffle tickets are needed.

 Members are asked to make a house block for outgoing president, Dana Sederoff.

Please bring them to next month’s meeting.

Jenna Chamberlain reported no novel items for the treasurer to report.

Cindi Johnson, Raffle quilt-

 We have a full bin of donated fabrics to be used for donation quilts.

 Completed quilts, quilt tops, or backing for donation quilts will also be accepted.

 Dana Sederoff showed the quilt she has donated to be raffled. There will now be

two raffle quilts for 2026.

Mary DeRener and Kathy Holmes, Quilts of Valor

 There are three quilt tops completed.

 Volunteers are needed to quilt the tops.

Linda Paulson, Refreshments

 Thanks to those who provided refreshments tonight.

 Linda circulated a sign-up sheet for next year’s refreshments.

There was no report regarding the newsletter.

Block of the Month

 Two members displayed their completed blocks for November.

 Completed Block of the Month quilts will be displayed in December.

Show and Tell

 Several members participated in show and tell.

 Door prizes were awarded.

Kristi Slinkard, Programs

 Heather Givans will be leading a workshop on November 19 beginning at 9:00 a.m.

 The workshop will take place at Trailside Church.

 The cost for the workshop will be $20.

 Krisit introduced the evening’s speaker, Heather Givans from Crimson Tate.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:13 p.m.
